Waverly Church of the Nazarene

Waverly Nazarene is a diverse church, with a range of ages, ethnic backgrounds, and social status. We strive to show Christ’s love to everyone, no matter where they come from or what their situation in life.

We also unashamedly proclaim the gospel “good news” of God’s love through Jesus (John 3:16-17, Ephesians 2:8-10), and the Wesleyan-Holiness message that receiving Jesus Christ as one’s Savior can and should make a genuine difference in one’s heart and life (Leviticus 11:45, Hebrews 12:14; 1 Peter 1:15-16).

We embrace the Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20) as expressed in the Nazarene denomination’s mission statement: “To make Christ-like disciples in the nations”.

Finally, we seek to encourage all Christ-followers to be involved in active service both within and outside the church, as the fulfillment of their relationship with God.

P.S.  Check out the "News" page on this site frequently, to keep posted on special events happening in or around the church!  Also, check the "Services" page regularly, to see upcoming sermon titles and Scripture passages.
